Speech Communication is an interdisciplinary journal jointly produced by EURASIP and the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) for the development and dissemination of all basic and applied aspects of speech communication processes. Its primary objectives are:

- to stimulate cross-fertilization between different fields of this domain.
- to contribute towards the rapid and wide diffusion of scientifically sound contributions in this domain.
